Nine OHA players named to Team BC

Nine Okanagan Hockey Academy players will suit up for the Team BC Under-16 squad at the upcoming 2015 Canada Winter Games.

OHA_EvalCamp_Crop.jpgThe nine players named to the roster from OHA is by far the most of any team, as no other program will send more than two.

Goaltender Jordan Hollett (Prep White), Griffen Mendel (Prep White), Scott Walford (Prep White), along with forwards Jordan Bellerive (Prep White), Ethan O’Rourke (Prep Red), Michael Rassmussen (Prep White), Jordan Robinson (Prep White), Brendan Semchuk (Prep White) and Chase Stevenson (Prep White) were all named to the roster.

Overall, 12 of the 20 players on the roster come from the Canadian Sport School Hockey League.

The 2015 Canada Winter Games kick-off on February 13, 2015 in Prince George, BC, while the hockey portion gets going on February 22. Team BC opens up the Games with a matchup against New Brunswick.
