Kelsall appointed as OHA UK Assistant General Manager

Apr 16, 2015

Okanagan Hockey Academy UK General Manager Steve Nell announced today that Paul Kelsall has been named as Assistant General Manager at the Okanagan Hockey Academy UK.

"I am delighted to be able to announce that Paul Kelsall will be joining OHA UK on a full time basis. Paul has provided a lot of input to the organisation since he joined as Director of Recruitment and I know he will be even more valuable in a full time position. His appointment will allow us to restructure the business in line with the experience we have gained in the 3 years the Academy has been running in the UK."

Kelsall has been involved with the Nottingham Junior Ice Hockey Club as a Team Manager and the Club's General Manager. Alongside this he has worked for over 5 years with the Midlands Conference as Team Manager and currently holds that post with the England U17 Team.

Commenting on his move to the full time role Kelsall said, "I have really enjoyed my involvement with OHA UK so far and had no hesitation in accepting Steve's offer of a full time position. I know there are clear long term goals in place for the Academy in general and our students in particular. The new structure Steve is putting in place will accelerate progress towards those goals.

The Okanagan Hockey Academy UK was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Okanagan Hockey Academy in Penticton, BC, Canada. OHA UK is located in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, and provides a year-round Academy program that combines education with athletics at the highest level. The OHA UK teams will be participating in the English Ice Hockey Association League Programme, as well as numerous tournaments and exhibition games across the UK and in mainland Europe.
