Okanagan Hockey Group (OHG) is hiring a General Manager for its Penticton Hockey Academy.

 Summary of responsibilities:

The General Manager reports to the President and Vice President and is accountable for the overall performance of the Hockey Academy in Penticton including revenue generation, student athlete recruitment, fiscal management, program development and is accountable for the day to day program operations. 

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Fiscal accountability
  • Staff management
  • Recruiting / Retention
  • Partnership management
  • Customer service
  • Quality management of the Hockey Academy program
  • Event management

The successful candidate demonstrates excellent leadership skills as a mentor, team builder and developer of corporate structure and executing on business strategies and achieving results.  In addition they have experience in the execution of sound fiscal management processes for the development and execution of financial forecasts, budgets, and management reporting and expense management.  They must also demonstrate strong communication, administrative, organization, time management skills and conflict management skills.
