Sunday to Friday Full Day Camp

You made a great first save.  Are you ready for the rebound?

Sample Schedule

The goaltenders position within our specialty camps (Defence Camp, Shooter and Scorers Camp and the Battle and Compete Camps) focuses on the refinement of fundamental skills both on and off the ice. On the ice the goalies become involved into a series of more complex and sophisticated drills that are part of the specific specialty camp that is being taught. The Camp operates in conjunction with the specific Specialty Camp for players and is for goalies aged 11 to 17 years old. The camps are offered in the same age groupings as Minor Hockey for the upcoming season (11/12, 13/14, and 15-17).

This camp provides the goaltender with the opportunity to develop and advance their skills in a demanding yet positive fun environment while meeting new teammates and making new friends.

The on ice focus for the camp is:

  • Stance and body position
  • Angles and crease depth
  • Save technique and rebound control
  • Butterfly style, slides, pushes and recovery
  • Puck tracking
  • Puck handling
  • Save selection decision making
  • Game situation drills
  • End of camp championship game
  • 4:1 goaltender to instructor ratio
  • Written goaltender evaluation and feedback

2.5 hours of ice time daily (plus an additional daily goalies only ice session) | Hockey Specific dryland training | Half Day Sunday: registration and ice session.

Looking for a program you can trust?

We have over 50 years of experience.

During my three years in Penticton, OHA was influential in my growth as a student, an athlete, and most importantly a person. Their overwhelming support made the city feel like home and the community feel like family. It was truly a first class experience, in an elite program that has prepared me for my time in university and any future endeavors."
