Elite level program developed and instructed by Okanagan Hockey Global Skills Coach – Mike Duco

Camp Details:

  • Application based camp
  • 2 ice times per day
  • 2.75 hours daily ice
  • Daily off ice hockey specific training

On Ice Focus:

  • Shooting and scoring
  • Puck skills
  • Compete level
  • Decision making
  • Agility and movement

Off Ice Focus:

  • Shooting and puck skills
  • Correct warm up, cool down and stretching methods
  • Speed, agility and functional movement training
Daily Classroom Session- Use of video in all areas to aid in teaching and reviewing concepts:
  • Review practice video and prep for ice sessions
  • Develop a consistent mindset to promote growth
  • Preparing as an elite athlete throughout the year
  • Understanding what hockey IQ is and how to improve
Daily Nutrition:
  • Fresh fruit, vegetables, healthy carbs and lean proteins (included)

By Application Only – Players should be playing at a high competitive tier and have the desire and work ethic required to take part in a high level, competitive environment. 

U13 and U15: Jul 12-16, 2021

U11: July 19-23, 2021 

Camp fee:  $950 plus taxes and fees. Includes daily healthy nutritional plan. 

Limited to 18 skaters and 2 goalies per group

Goalie instruction will be provided 



Duco was an assistant coach for the Peterborough Petes of the OHL during the 2017-18 season after serving as a head coach with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals the previous season. On top of his duties with the Petes, he also was involved with the Peterborough Minor Hockey Association as a skills development coach and player evaluator.

The Toronto, Ont. product enjoyed an extensive nine-year professional playing career that saw him play 18 games in the NHL with the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks, 267 games in the AHL, as well as time spent in the ECHL and Europe. Duco played parts of five seasons in the OHL with the Kitchener Rangers, where he was part of the 2008 J. Ross Robertson Cup winning team as OHL champions.
