The OHA Prospects Summer Development Camp is the ultimate off-season development camp. Each day in camp you will learn and experience what it takes to raise all aspects of your game, as you strive to get to the next level.

Features

  • Guest Speaker presentations throughout the week (session topics can include College and Junior information, mental strength training, nutrition, health and wellness, education, etc.)
  • Constant feedback and correction throughout all camp events from OHA Staff, including video analysis
  • Individual Player Evaluation meetings with OHA staff providing feedback, direction and guidance.
  • Opportunity to display your ability to current OHA coaching and recruiting staff
  • Experience the OHA program, and what it means to be an OHA student-athlete

WHL Combine Testing, which will provide the following:

  • Athlete Report: individual athlete results and combine comparative results to peers
  • Sport Pulse: progress report comparing all historical individual athlete results
  • Access to WHL Database: Compare your results to over 7000 athletes tested with WHL Combines
  • Access to Sport Testing Database: Compare your results to over 20,000 athletes tested with SportTesting
  • Use your results to track your development progress, highlight areas of weakness, and target your off-ice/ on-ice training needs
  • All WHL Combine Results are entered into the WHL Database and sent directly to all WHL General Managers and Head Scouts to track and identify prospective players

Action

  • Daily on-ice development sessions focusing on individual tactical skills
  • Daily off-ice development sessions focusing on speed, power, agility and acceleration
  • Daily competitive games providing players a chance to showcase their abilities
  • WHL Combine Testing: on-ice and off-ice testing
  • Certified Athletic Trainer will be on staff
