Okanagan Hockey Camps

FAQ

What is the meal plan?

The Meal Plan provides lunch, snack and hydration during the camp week. This service is setup strictly as a convenience for parents, not a revenue generator. Meal Plan foods vary between camp locations. You can expect healthy/light snack options, and high carb/high protein lunch entrees with healthy sides. Hydration can include water, juice, Gatorade, milk. Food consists of high carb/high protein. Camp schedules allow for designated lunch/snack/hydration time. All participants eat as a group, whether the Meal Plan has been purchased, or lunch is brought from home. The Meal Plan can be added during your registration, or purchased during player check-in at camp.

Can my player move up to the next age group?

No, your player can not move up to the next age group. We strive to satisfy 100% of our participating families. All of our camps and programs are designed specifically for the allotted age groups and camp formats. In order to execute our programs as intended, we must maintain appropriate age groups. You would not be happy if your 12-year-old registered for an 11-12 camp, only to find out there are nine-year-olds in the camp. Exception: OHG reserves the right to find the best camp fit for our participants. After the first day in camp, if you feel your player is too strong for the camp, go see the camp co-ordinator directly (introduced during welcome orientation). We can set-up an evaluation, and if approved by OHG, find a better camp fit.

What is the Sample Schedule?

Looking for a program you can trust?

We have over 50 years of experience.

Playing at OHA was great. I had great billet families and made great relationships with people I still keep in touch with. It was a really good learning experience for me being away from home playing hockey, which set me up to go play junior.
